Gogol Bordello was phenomenal!

As always, Gogol Bordello put on a high energy extravaganza of a show April 4th at the Paradise in Boston. Despite the bands efforts, the venue was awful. The room design made for poor acoustics so the sound quality was sub-par. Since Drew Bledsoe's stage dive fiasco years ago, security at the Paradise has become too aggressive with the outcome being a lethargic, cowed audience staring blankly at the stage. In the end, the band put in 100%, but the audience and venue were duds making for the least enjoyable Gogol experience I've had thus far. Here's looking to the next show and hopefully a better crowd!
